Hey everyone! I suppose its about time I post another update on Baby Otto & I.
Well, we've made it to
almost 33 weeks - yea!!! My appointment last week was somewhat disappointing. We found out that my contractions are now causing me to dilate. Dr. McKenzie is hoping Baby Otto will wait until at least 34 weeks before making his/her entrance into the world - we're close! We hope & pray every day that Baby Otto will wait just a little bit longer, but considering we've made it much further than Dr. McKenzie anticipated, we're feeling pretty good about the situation.
DJ worked really hard to get the baby's room cleaned & ready last weekend. (Collin's old room) I felt guilty that I couldn't help but since laying low is what the doctor ordered, there isn't much I can do about it. I washed & put away all of Collin's neutral outfits so the 'Lil one will have something to wear when s/he comes home from the hospital. If this baby comes soon, we're going to need some premiee clothes - I don't think anything we have will fit the 'Lil one! The only thing we still need to get done before the baby is born is clean the car seat. So all-n-all I think we're ready!
We've decided on a girl's & boy's name, but we're not going to tell you.... ha ha ha! We decided on the girl's name together & DJ chose the boy's name. We love them both & can't wait to call him/her something other than "Baby" or "Baby Otto".
Collin's taking his second round of swimming lessons & is doing a great job! The first opportunity he had to jump off the diving board, he crawled up the ladder, walked down the board & leaped! We're so proud of him! :)
Collin put two of his old teddy bears in the crib for "her". (He's very insistant that we're having a girl.) It was really cute! He doesn't think he'll have to share any of his tractors because s/he will be too little to play with them. Boy is he in for a surprise... ha ha ha!
Well that's all for now. I've got a busy day ahead of me. I have to lay on the couch, lay on the couch, and oh, lay on the couch. Just kidding!
Hope everyone is doing well!
